Perrysburg Energy Solutions
Molly Thompson’s entrepreneurial journey has been anything but typical. This journey includes co-authoring a book (despite having no prior experience) that got picked up by a major publisher, helping develop a TV show, working in the nonprofit sector (where she even landed Chipotle as a sponsor!), holding several other full-time jobs, and starting numerous companies along the way.
But these days, Molly’s life looks a little different as she spends her days focused on Perrysburg Energy Solutions, a renewable energy company with a there’s-nothing-else-like-it business model that’s seen impressive 1,000% revenue growth over the last few years. However, like many entrepreneurs, Molly has faced her fair share of setbacks over the years that she struggled to navigate on her own.
“Strategic Coach has changed my life. It's improved my relationship with my family, and it's revolutionized our business model to something that's never been done before in my industry. As a result, we've experienced a 1,000% increase in our revenue in just a few years!”

Struggling To Fit The Societal Mold
From a young age, Molly struggled to “fit the societal mold.” Though she regularly saw great results and growth in any project she took on, she also found herself facing setbacks like being fired on three separate occasions and launching multiple unsuccessful companies.
Thankfully, discovering Strategic Coach®—as well as receiving a life-changing ADHD diagnosis—enabled Molly to find a space where she could truly belong and get the support she needed to thrive. “Many people think entrepreneurship is sexy. But the reality is that it can be incredibly isolating,” she says. “Finding a community like Strategic Coach has meant everything to me. Because, at the end of the day, there’s no reason to go through this all alone.”
A Life-Changing Diagnosis
A few months after joining Strategic Coach, Molly reached a pivotal moment that completely changed her life: “I was used to having a flood of ideas racing through my head all day. But one day, the flood suddenly ground to a halt. I crawled back into bed, feeling like something was seriously wrong, and told my husband I thought I was having a nervous breakdown.
“Luckily, this was short-lived. After a few weeks of research and talking to a psychiatrist, I received an ADHD diagnosis, which turned out to be one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received.”
Molly continues, “The truth is, up until that point, I had spent my entire life battling against myself and suppressing my entrepreneurial spirit. It was exhausting, and I felt weighed down by the constant effort of trying to hide who I really was. With this diagnosis, and the support and tools inside Strategic Coach, I no longer felt like I had to do that.”
Navigating Entrepreneurship & 10x Growth After An ADHD Diagnosis
Following her ADHD diagnosis, Molly found that Strategic Coach was there to open up new possibilities for her (as well as allow her to, quite literally, 10x her business revenue!). “I find that as someone with a fast-moving mind, Strategic Coach workshops give me the space to slow down and gain fresh perspectives, along with a supportive, enthusiastic community I can use to bounce ideas off of,” she says.
These two things, alongside Strategic Coach tools and resources, have made it possible for her to create a totally new business model unlike anything else out there.
This new business shift has brought Molly to experience some remarkable results. “Thanks to our new business model, we’re now organizing a massive community collaboration with an economic, social, and environmental impact,” she says. “We’ve also 10x’d our company revenue in just the last few years, and we’re gaining press attention at local, regional, national, and even international levels.”
When asked for her perspective on how other entrepreneurs with ADHD can thrive, Molly thinks it’s important for them to recognize they aren’t alone. “First things first,” she says, “remember that there’s nothing wrong with you. Your brain, like mine, simply works a little bit differently, and there is no shame in that.
“Secondly, don’t go at it all alone! There are plenty of supportive communities out there where you can be yourself and be surrounded by others with similarly quick-moving brains.
“But of course, out of all the entrepreneurial communities out there, I recommend you give Strategic Coach a try.”
