Mo Talukder has a tendency of making a name for herself wherever she goes—from becoming the youngest manager at a global company at just 23 to earning multiple awards and features in her current industry, including the annual WOW Award for Best SME: A Regional Business Award, the prestigious Property Woman of the Year Award, and a feature on a BBC property program aired worldwide. (In fact, Mo was even once shortlisted to participate in the BBC Apprentice!)

Looking at Mo today, you might believe that entrepreneurship always came naturally to her. However, as she’ll be the first to tell you, it was a steep learning curve. As Mo explains, “I was very much raised to have a career and then stick with the best job possible. But after six years in my ‘career,’ I realized that I wanted something more and that I needed to rely on myself to achieve that.
"I had become interested in property over the years, so I took the bonus I had just earned at my normal job and decided to take a gamble by investing it in a property course so I could learn as much as possible.
"I then made the leap into property, but it wasn’t an easy leap since I literally had no experience in the field and very little cash to work with.”
